HALCON 8.0 Image Acquisition Interface for Leutron Vision PicPort Frame Grabbers (All Families) and for PicSight Cameras
This document provides information about the HALCON Leutron interface for the Leutron Vision frame grabber boards and cameras. As the latest revision of this interface is part of the software package from Leutron Vision, registered customers can download it from the Support Area of the Leutron Vision WWW server.
System Requirements
- Intel compatible PC with either Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 4), Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows x64, or Linux (any flavour running kernel 2.4 or 2.6).
- Leutron Vision LV-SDS software package successfully installed. Please follow carefully the Leutron Vision Installation Guide.

parhAcqLeutron.dll for Windows,
hAcqLeutron.so for Linux.
It is installed together with the Leutron Vision LV-SDS package (under
Windows you should explicitly select the corresponding installation option).

Features
The HALCON Leutron interface provides access to most functionality of all the Leutron Vision hardware products:
- PicSight® cameras with Gigabit Ethernet or USB 2.0 interface.
- PicPort®-Express and PicPort®-X Camera Link frame grabbers.
- PicPort®-Elite analog frame grabbers.
- Legacy products, such as PicPort®-Analog or PicProdigy ® frame grabbers.

Limitations
- grab_data and grab_data_async not supported.
